| Farewell XangaThis is a general announcement that I will no longer be updating this Xanga with any regular purpose. I must confess that I have all but stopped checking Xanga. Why? The short list is because I stopped copying all of my posts over from Livejournal, and then I got lazy and stopped putting updates here at all. I have not been posting much lately anyway, so you have not missed much.
As for checking your Xanga, I have sicced Bloglines after most of you so I can keep tabs on what is happening in your life. I am mostly lurking around, however, so do not expect many comments. If your blog has not been updated in a long time, I probably did not bother to add you to my list at Bloglines because I was lazy. Sorry.
Since Xanga has stopped emailing me about comments here, the best way to drop me a note is to email me or post a comment at Livejournal. Find my email address from a friend or ask me for it if you do not have it yet.

Xanga has finally sickened me enough to stop copying all of my posts here. If you want to read them, follow the link. Feel free to leave comments here or there (you can post anonymous comments on LJ, just mention who you are in the text of the comment).
I will continue to post links here to the new posts, so you will not miss anything. If you use an RSS reader you can skip this process by subscribing to my Livejournal feed. If you do not know how I can show you.
To head off possible questions:
- I will continue to post. I have not been posting much lately, and part of the reason is discussed in my latest post.
- I am not leaving Xanga. I was never actually here in the first place; I was just making it easy for you to read things. It is still easy to read things, you merely have to click a link. To make you feel better, this post can only be found on Xanga.
- I will still read your Xanga. (If you have one, and I know about it.) I have my RSS reader all primed and my Xanga account is still active and I will still check the subscription page. The amount of comments I leave will be low, but that is normal.
- I am okay, I am fine, I am not going to try and kill myself, nor am I depressed or angry. I just see little reason to post at Xanga and Livejournal.
- I will continue to post about techie things. Techie things are part of my life and I enjoy them.
